ITDatabases.com was formed in 2000 as a colour matching consultancy under the name of ColourSolutions.com working with the very high end users of colour in the advertising, marketing and printing industries.

At the request of these clients thePrinterDatabase.com was created as a knowledgebase of all matters associated with colour printing – from what you see on the screen to what you get from the printer, the pre-press and the final output.

As clients requested more and more often that we also supply them with the printers they required, we developed into a reseller web site, one of the first to be established on the web that not only supplied goods but also gave full technical support and information.

As our customer base grew, the range of products being requested from us widened and so we evolved into ITDatabases.com.

With prices and information on over 50,000 line items fed to us on a daily basis by our suppliers, we do not display them all in our web sites as it would be pretty dull if we did! However we commit to be able to supply you with any item you require at a competitive price and within our standard excellent level of service.

Our entire operation is virtual and has been for many years. We don’t waste time or pollute the environment by driving anywhere as we have no premises and all of our staff works from home. As a result we have happy relaxed people that can manage their personal lives as well as give high levels of service to our customers from 8am to 6pm every weekday.

This is good for our customers, our staff and the company, and we have coped easily with house moves, new babies, the demands of dogs and even changes of country. We currently have staff in Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Bucks while our General Manager was able to run things day to day during a two week visit to Barbados.

Security in such circumstances is vital. Our technology is tried and tested and is of the highest possible level of sophistication. We use secure third parties to manage our credit card transactions and so we never see your card details as all such transactions take place on our partners’ servers, not ours.

When we receive cheque payments we bank them the same day so they are never exposed to prying eyes. We are members of the Early Warning organization that maintains a database of cheque and credit card scams, frauds and fraudsters and we refer and contribute to it regularly.
